Ernie Els Wines ... The Current Collection

• Ernie Els founded his winery in 1999 and the first release was in 2000, the eponymous Ernie Els wine, a bordeaux blend. His winemaker is Louis Strydom, who also made wine for Rust en Vrede for five years.
  
  
• Red varietals (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Shiraz) are grown on estate property within the Stellenbosch appellation.
