"The nose reveals intense floral, ripe pear, red apple characters, white peach and rich exotic spices. Lovely soft texture with layers of white fruit, nuts and spices. This wine shows an excellent palate length and structure. Accredited Sustainable, Carbon Neutral."

Technical Notes
"The grapes were harvested by hand for optimum flavour between the 19th March and the 9th April. All three vineyards achieved excellent ripeness and flavour with grapes reaching 23.5 to 24.0 Brix. Around eighty percent of the juice underwent a natural ferment and and forty percent fermented in neutral French oak to and the lees could be stirred. Acid 4.6 g/L; p.H. 3.49; Residual Sugar 5 g/L."

"This vintage is a blend of: 55 % Pinot Noir and 45 % Chardonnay. The 2002 Huia Brut displays an excellent fine bead and good bubble retention. The nose shows lovely bready and biscuity characters with an underlying toastyness. The Palate is rich in peach fruit with ripe citrus flavours. There is a delicate creaminess ending with a long elegant dry finish."
