Kilikanoon Wines ... The Current Selection.

Kilikanoon Wines in the Clare Valley was founded in 1997 by Kevin Mitchell, son of Mort Mitchell who had been farming grapes in the Clare for decades prior.

Mort planted and tended the "Mort's Block" over 40 years ago, which forms the source for Kilikanoon's acclaimed Mort's Block Riesling and Oracle Shiraz.

Building on its early successes, Kilikanoon broadened its horizons from the Clare Valley and acquired vineyards in the Barossa, McLaren Vale, Eden Valley and the Flinders Ranges.

Only the best grapes from each of these vineyards go into the Kilikanoon wines, for example the Covenant Shiraz from the Clare, Testament Shiraz from the Barossa and Parable Shiraz from McLaren Vale are outstanding examples of the distinctive styles of Australian shiraz found in each of these Australian wine regions.
