"Garnet. The nose is bright focussed and appealing with blackcurrant, blackberries and fresh violets. Really elegant -- savoury notes, fine white pepper, fresh rhubarb and white nectarine characters with fine tannin and tangy acidity. A lovely length on the palate. A wine to enjoy in its youth, however, it will live happily for a further 10 years."
"80% Grenache, 17% Mourvedre, 3% Shiraz. Matured in 5 and 6 year old French oak barriques for 12 months. 14.5% alc."
"94 pts ... An 80/17/3% blend, fermented on skins for 7-10 days, then matured in used French barriques for 12 months. Has good colour; relatively early picking has invested the wine with spicy freshness and vibrant red fruits, way beyond most Barossa Valley blends of these varieties. Drink through 2022."
