2012 Voyager Estate Margaret River Chardonnay
Margaret River, Western Australia

What pure pleasure! Delicate aromas of white stone fruits, vanilla bean and oak follow lusciously and intensely on the palate through the satisfyingly long finish. Gorgeous with roasted salmon, creamy ginger infused salad dressing, roasted chicken, sushi, lentils with kale and tahini, and really just all by itself.

Winemaker's Notes
"Attractive nose displaying lifted citrus aromas with hints of spice, nougat and pistachio nuts. The textural palate displays fresh and vibrant citrus fruits in the lime, lemon pith and grapefruit spectrum with an attractive savoury element, finishing with a clean flinty, mineral edge."
James Halliday
"96 pts ... Slight colour development is not surprising; the choice of oak for the barrel fermentation was spot on, allowing the fine varietal fruit expression free rein, riding high on its minerally acidity; the overall balance and elegance is exceptional. Drink through 2022."

2010 Vina Tabali Talinay Chardonnay
91 WA A most beautiful Chardonnay with gobs of white stonefruits, pear, and Meyer lemon flowers on the nose and cascading over the very long palate. We enjoyed it immensely with a spicy butternut squash soup festooned with brown butter sauteed prawns, cucumbers, and non-fat Greek yogurt. A really delightful quaff!
