Winemaker's Notes
"Pale straw with green highlights. On the nose, lemon grass, lime peel and elderflower, with background notes of white currant andred pepper. Medium-bodied with currant, gooseberry and citrus flavours, and a dry mineral finish."

Technical Notes
"A typical season in Marlborough, with a dry and mild harvest and growing degree days just above the long-term average. Spring rains, and less of the blustery summer winds, ensured plenty of groundwater and healthy vine canopies. The fruit was machine harvested in cool evening conditions, de-stemmed and lightly pressed with minimal skincontact. Clear, cold-settled juice was fermented in stainless steel vats at low temperatures and using neutralwine yeast strains to allow the powerful fruit flavours to dominate. 13.5% alc."
Wine Spectator
"92 pts ... Complex, with succulent peach, pear and melon flavors that mingle effortlessly with honeysuckle, spice and matcha green tea notes. Powerful and juicy."

2016 Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc
5 Stars MC Wonderfully, delicately herbal on the nose with restrained gooseberry and tropical fruits on the palate. Always an elegant savvie, this vntage is also exuberantly dry and zippy. Terrific with goat or other cheeses and white meats with plenty of herbs.

2014 Goldwater Sauvignon Blanc
Pretty and full-bodied with slightly softer citrus than many Marlborough savvies. We get melon and apple flavors as well, with that special NZ crisp and refreshing finish.
