"Clean and bright, with an outstanding deep ruby-red color. The nose presents aromas of blueberries, blackberries and black pepper along with red fruits and herbal notes of bay leaf and dill. The elegant palate features a freshness that ensures longevity. This Cabernet Franc shows plenty of personality and all the potential of this Bordeaux variety."
96% Cabernet Franc, 4% Carmenere. The grapes were hand-picked on April 10 and immediately transported to the winery for sorting and gentle de-stemming. The fruit was cold macerated for six days followed by a warm ferment lasting 16 days with gentle punch downs taking place daily. The wine was aged for 18-20 months in French oak barrels, and coarsely filtered prior to bottling. 14% alc.
