"Lively aromas of fresh plum, rose petals and violets are backed by a touch of vanillin oak. The very attractive blend of rich plum, cherry, spice and black pepper flavors have produced a marvelously opulent middle palate that is backed by lovely soft tannins. A delicious and pure fruit-driven wine."
"55% Merlot, 29% Malbec, 16% Petit Verdot. The fruit was carefully sorted before fermentation with indigenous yeasts and malolactic bacteria. No acid or yeast was added, producing a wine which has a sense of place through the grapes and natural winemaking techniques employed. 83% aged in French oak for 8 months. 13.% alc."
"94 pts ... A 55/29/16% blend; 83% of the wine was matured in used French oak barrels for 8 months, the remainder kept in stainless steel. Bright purple-crimson; while all about cassis and plum fruit, it is no lollipop wine, for the tannins are in the background standing by for the future; long and complete. Drink through 2025."
"91 pts ... Deep ruby. Lively and precise on the nose, displaying scents of redcurrant, cherry, pipe tobacco and fresh rose. Juicy and focused, with very good depth and sweetness to its red berry and bitter cherry flavors. Shows a refreshingly tangy quality on the long and energetic finish."

$109.9995+ WA; 97 JH This is quite simply a lovely Chardonnay with stone fruit flavors, hints of melon, roasted nuts, and toasty French oak, and a nice minerally finish. It has wonderfully balanced acidity as well and will pair with, well, you name it: herb marinated fish or fowl, lobster and crab, and cheese.
