Winemaker's Notes
"Lifted aromatics are the key component of this pretty wine. Notes of boysenberry, sour cherry, marzipan and fresh green foliage fill the nose and are mirrored on the palate, characters which complement the soft, rich palate texture. A luscious and ready-to-drink Cabernet."

Technical Notes
"A combination of techniques including whole bunch addition and extended maceration were used to ensure complexity and varietal balance. The wine was basket-pressed into a combination of new (10%) and old French (45%) and American (45%) oak, where it underwent secondary fermentation. The wine was matured in oak for a total of 10 months. Bottling preparation involved minimal fining and no filtration."

James Halliday
"93 pts ... Medium crimson-purple; three east-facing blocks with minimal topsoil produced high quality cabernet grapes, and were picked early enough to preserve authentic black olive/forest notes to the central pillar of cassis fruit; the tannins are fine-grained, the oak well-integrated and balanced. Drink through 2027."
