Winemaker's Notes
"The Vincent offers inviting aromas of rich fruit and soft white pepper. The palate is generous with intense true varietal characteristics. The delicately rounded and generous mouth feel denotes the 75 year old Foudre barrels, where this wine has rested for 12 months. A superb Grenache that displays lifted fruit aromas and has a lingering finish. A wine that can be enjoyed now or well into the future."

Technical Notes
"This Grenache has been produced from a single, 85 year old vineyard from the high altitude region of Rowland Flat in the renowned Barossa Valley. It has been created in the same time honoured fashion in which the Cirillo 1850 Grenache is made, using whole berry open fermentation and basket pressing. 14.3% alc."

"90 pts ... Sourced from 80-year-old vines and aged in large used French and American oak barrels for a year. Lurid ruby. Potent smoke- and spice-laced dark berry, licorice and floral pastille scents show good energy and ripeness. Fleshy, broad and appealingly sweet, offering blackberry, violet pastille and succulent herb flavors that are deep, broad, and surprisingly lively given their heft. Supple tannins give shape to the persistent finish, which is framed by smooth, slow-building tannins."
