Winemaker's Notes
"Deep crimson colors with shades of magenta accompany intense aromas of espresso and cassis. An expansive, deeply structured palate reveals black raspberry, currant, graphite and violets with traces of dark baker's chocolate. This full-bodied, highly structured wine balances acidity with velvety tannins leaving a lasting impression. "

Wine Advocate
"91 pts ...There is also a 2012 Bramare Cabernet Sauvignon Marchiori Vineyard that feels balsamic and aromatic, with notes of thyme and rosemary and a hint of camphor over ripe blackberries. The palate is full-bodied, with plenty of fine, slightly powdery tannins and with good freshness. This needs some red meat or hearty dishes."

Wine Spectator
"91 pts ... Plush and spicy, with concentrated dark plum, blackberry and dark currant flavors, featuring some creamy notes. Chocolate mousse details envelop the long, rich finish. Drink now through 2020. 113 cases imported."
