"92+ pts ...mesh has been an excellent performer since its 2002 debut. It's a wine produced as a joint venture between Robert Hill Smith (Yalumba) and Jeffrey Grosset. All releases have been Eden Valley grown. Quite a bit of colour - it's a pronounced straw-green, with emphasis on the green. Gives it a bright brilliance in the glass. It shoots lots of lime/bath salts/chalk-like flavour and pushes stridently out through the finish. Quite textural and tongue-hugging. Indeed a good deal of mid-palate weight. Dry and piercing. Very Eden Valley. Mid-term it should be gorgeous."
Winemaker's Notes
"mesh Eden Valley Riesling 2010 is green and vibrant in appearance. The aroma is zesty lemon and grapefruit with a hint of dried herbs. The palate is lively and generous, with intense citrus fruit flavours and hints of talc. The wine finishes clean and dry with refreshing acidity. 12.5% alc."

""Stony citrus and pear on the nose, lightly kissed by pungent herbs. Very dry, with finely etched lemon, pear and anise flavors firmed by solid acidity. The brisk finish offers noteworthy lift. Uncompromisingly firm, dry riesling, with the concentration to repay cellaring"
