"Bella's Garden Shiraz is black to the core. Very perfumed with lovely red fruits including subtle raspberries, five spice, cedar and sandlewood. Juicy red fruits burst onto the palateand roll on and on, balanced with fine tannins and subtle oak. This wine has great length and an elegant framework."
"De-stemmed, crushed and fermented in open top fermenters ranging in size from three to 10 tonne capacity. Regular pump overs occurred three times daily during the peak of fermentation to extract colour, flavour and tannin. Average time ‘on skins’ was 14 days before the dry free run was drained to tank and the pressings combined. After 24 hours the wine was then racked to barrel, where malolactic fermentation took place. Minimal fining and unfiltered prior to bottling. Aged 18 months in French oak hogsheads 40% new remond oak, balance in older French oak hogsheads. 15.5% alc. "
"91 pts ... Soft and expressive, layering plum, currant and clove hints into a beautifully textured package, all pointing toward the long, generous finish."
