"89 pts ... Opaque purple. A reticent nose slowly opens to offer black and blue fruits, violet and a hint of black pepper. Lush and creamy, displaying slightly warm blackberry and boysenberry flavors and a touch of bitter chocolate. Plenty of deep fruit here but more shape would be nice. The finish is smooth and sweet, repeating the chocolate note."
