	2012 Pulenta Estate Sauvignon Blanc Eduardo and Hugo Pulenta's winemaker, Javier Lo Forte, has a very deft touch. His Sauvignon Blanc is light and yummy with soft stone fruit flavors, good minerality, and just enough acidity, avoiding that unattractive mouth pucker. "Light straw colored and intensely aromatic, with white nectarine and white peach aromas followed by tropical pineapple-guava and hints of wet stone and fresh cut grass in the background. 	2011 Palliser Sauvignon Blanc 90 ST Lime and some almost eye-popping (in a good way of course) herbal scent on the nose, rounded green melon and citrus on the palate, nice acidity, and a good finish. 	2011 Nautilus Sauvignon Blanc Always a favorite, we get more rounded flavors of stone fruit and gooseberry. No lack of zip and a really nice minerally finish. Great with fish, shellfish, goat cheese, roasted chicken, and lighter, spicy foods. 	2011 Mulderbosch Sauvignon Blanc Citrus and something earthy or leafy on the nose, really wonderful actually. The palate is bright, round, with a touch of melon, and a nice minerally finish. 	2012 Mapema Sauvignon Blanc This would be fun to taste alongside a Marlborough sauvignon blanc, both so refreshing and each so different. The Mapema is a bit fuller and less overtly citrusy. Like her Kiwi cousins, Mapema is fabulous with cheeses, pretty much anything with lots of herbs including salads, and even creamy sauces.
